On Friday, July 24th, Carpool delivered its 400,000th vehicle.
A round number is easy to celebrate. What's harder to see is everything underneath it: 400,000 separate moves, each one quoted, dispatched, picked up, tracked, inspected, and delivered. Each one had a carrier who showed up, a driver who did the work, and a team making sure the customer knew where their vehicle was. And as CarPass rolls out across the network, the next 400,000 will move with a verified handoff at the gate.
The map above shows every vehicle Carpool has delivered to date. We can draw it because every one of those moves lives in a single system. Order, dispatch, pickup, GPS tracking, inspection, and delivery are captured at the VIN level from start to finish. Nothing is stitched together after the fact.
The bright cores are our densest lanes. The fainter threads are routes we've run less often. Both tell you something, and both matter.
Density is what makes logistics predictable. When a lane runs constantly, carriers know it, pickup windows hold, and pricing is grounded in real volume instead of guesswork. On our densest lanes, that consistency is what lets dealers plan around arrivals instead of chasing them, with coordinated pickups in as little as two business days.
For a multi-rooftop dealer group moving inventory between stores, or an auction clearing a lane after sale day, that predictability is the difference between a vehicle on the frontline and a vehicle sitting in transit.
The fainter threads are just as important. They represent the vehicle that isn't sitting in a major market: the unit at a rural auction three states away, the trade-in at a single-point store, the repo in a ZIP code most carriers never see.
Those are the moves that stall when a load gets posted to an open board and left to wait. Coverage means we've been there before. Every faint line on that map is a lane where a customer needed a vehicle moved, and it moved.
As more dealers source inventory at distance, coverage stops being a nice-to-have. The vehicle you want to buy is only worth buying if you can get it home.
Carpool doesn't own trucks. Every one of those 107 million miles was driven by an independent carrier in our closed, continuously monitored network: carriers who met our compliance, insurance, and safety standards and kept meeting them, move after move.
This milestone belongs to them, to the drivers behind the wheel, and to the operations team that dispatched, tracked, and supported every one of those 400,000 moves. It also belongs to our customers, who trusted us with their inventory and kept sending more of it.
Carpool delivered 149,000 vehicles in 2025 alone, a 114% increase over the year before. The network is growing faster than it ever has, and it's getting more secure as it grows.
CarPass, our patent-pending secure release system, is rolling out across the Carpool network now. Before a vehicle is released, the assigned driver's identity is verified with a government-issued ID and biometric face match, their location is confirmed inside the pickup geofence, and a time-limited, encrypted authorization is active. Every release is timestamped, geotagged, and archived.
The first 400,000 built the network. The next 400,000 will move across it with a digital chain of custody.
400,000 is the milestone. The network each move helped build is the real achievement.
